INSECTOIDS by Sadie Shrub

'INSECTOIDS' ...Beware the mutant insects of our future world…

“Muscadraco Genemitous”

This is what could happen to Earths’ most ancient of beasts surviving the post apocalyptic millennia…

Life on Planet Earth is very different. Long gone are the human race, leaving only a legacy of Industrial and Agricultural chemical wasteland…

The sole survivors are the wondrous mini-beasts of our former insect kingdom…

As in some forgotten era of the Planets’ pre-history, monstrous critters are dominating the skies, lands and seas, helping to keep the bio-sphere from certain destruction after the devastations wreaked by Humans…

Feeding off pollens and nectars of crops long-affected by unnatural chemicals in pesticides and fertilizers, drinking from waters fluorescent with radioactive spillages, as they struggle to fly through air thick and crackling with electro-static fog from the over-use of micro and radio wave technologies;… these winged and stinged creepy crawlies have long since developed immunities to insecticides, causing them to grow enormous in size as evolutionary mutations increase with every disruption to the genetic order of life as we once knew it.

Us and Them?

HERE'S TO THE CRAZY ONES. THE MISFITS. THE REBELS. THE TROUBLEMAKERS. THE ROUND PEGS IN THE SQUARE HOLES. THE ONES WHO SEE THINGS DIFFERENTLY. THEY'RE NOT FOND OF RULES. AND THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE STATUS QUO. YOU CAN QUOTE THEM, DISAGREE WITH THEM, DISBELIEVE THEM, GLORIFY OR VILIFY THEM, ABOUT THE ONLY THING THAT YOU CAN'T DO, IS IGNORE THEM. BECAUSE THEY CHANGE THINGS. THEY INVENT. THEY IMAGINE. THEY HEAL. THEY EXPLORE. THEY CREATE. THEY INSPIRE. THEY PUSH THE HUMAN RACE FORWARD; MAYBE THEY HAVE TO BE CRAZY. BECAUSE THE ONES WHO ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO THINK THAT THEY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, ARE THE ONES WHO DO. Saw this recently in a window of a local cafe, sure its not original but thanks for that John :-)
